Absolutely love this library! It is well maintained by friendly staff. They have a gallery and community service desk that helps process passports. Most of the first floor is dedicated to children and teens. The second floor is equipped with computers, study rooms, plenty of seating, a great view and a large fireplace! Best library I have been to and is a true gem of the Newhall community.
They are a well-organized and well-staffed Library. Everybody's been always very nice and very helpful. And they've been great at either having or getting the books that I like to read.
So clean, so much desk & working space! Free wifi, ample parking! Each table has @ least 4 outlets and cool views from the second floor. Need an actual library card to use the restrooms though. Everyone is pretty respectful & quiet when trying to work.

Staff is always helpful
I visited The Old Town Newhall Library for the fist time last week, and I was pleasantly greeted by your front desk staff with a smile and a customer friendly tone of voice. After the initial assistance, I was sent upstairs, and again the greeting was the same.
They assisted me with everything that I needed from getting a library card to scanning, printing and emailing my documents.
Additionally, the library was extremely clean and it was a state of the art building.
I want to commend the management and the staff for making cleanliness and customer service a priority, which is a lost value in modern times. Thank you for going above and beyond for your patrons.
This is, by far, the best library in the entire Santa Clarita Valley. With a friendly staff and a beautiful building to house all the books and activities, there's always something to do at this place. I want to give a special shout out to the ladies who run little explorers and the children's section: Thank you for going above and beyond to bring smiles to many children every week, the staff is the real reason why this place deserves five stars.
Nice place. Small selection of DVDs. Helpful librarians. But you CAN'T use your L.A. County library card there, you must get signed up with the Santa Clarita library system (having an active card is also your only entry to their very CLEAN bathrooms).
The library is beautiful and staff are very friendly. I love the kids section. Also there is an elevator for handicap to get to the upper floor.
